The course is designed to develop an environmental health technician with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to satisfy the needs of the health sector and allied industries. The course is done on a full time basis where the trainee will go to college for theory during school terms and go on attachment during school holidays. The trainee will be assessed through continuous assessment, written examinations, research project and on the Job Education and Training. The course will include Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics culture; gender main streaming and sustainable development concepts.
To develop an Environmental Health Practitioner with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to promote sustainable environmental health.
Graduates of the course should be able to:
5 O’ level including English Language, Mathematics and any Science subject.
