Courses offered are designed to develop Construction workers with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to satisfy the needs of the Construction industry and related sectors of industry and commerce. The courses are offered on a full time basis where the trainees receive two years of institutional training and go on attachment for one year. The trainees will be assessed through continuous assessment, written examinations, research project and on the Job Education and Training.

Enrolment Procedure
Enrolment will be done in person at the Polytechnic on a date set for the interviews. Potential candidates are advised to contact the Head of Department of Civil and Construction Engineering for the intended course and enrolment.
Requirements
Five O levels including English Language For those with 4 O levels, a pass in NFC course will be considered as subject in that relevant and related area
Documents
A set of certified copies of birth, ID and school certificates together with original copies must be presented on registration. A written application letter (in applicants own handwriting) for the required course.
Fees
All applicants will pay an interview fee of $10 on the day of enrolment.
Application Procedure
All applications are directed to the Head of institution Masvingo Polytechnic as advertised on print and electronic media. Students are recruited on the condition of passing entrance test written during interviews.

The aim of the course is to produce a competent Fitter Machinist who is theoretically and practically skilled in machining and fitting of engineering parts, installing and produce components to required specifications.

The aim of the course is to produce a competent Boilermaker/Plate welder who is theoretically and practically skilled in fabrication of steel structures to required specifications.
